Naval medal group to Frank A Gibson, consisting of war medal, 39, Atlantic, Italy, Africa stars, plus ribbons, ribbons show tow rosettes which I suspect are for France and Germany star bar, plus 42-43 North Africa clasp, the medal slip would indicate this is correct. Also his drivers licence, some swimming awards of which the medals are named and his bus drivers badge. The medals are boxed and addressed to him as living in the Liverpool area as does his drivers license. Possibly some articles in the Liverpool Echo where his ship was sunk by the Luftwaffe during an artic convoy. The medals are unworn, although ribbons appear to have been used to make up his medal bars.
