A decent example of a MK2 Kukri, scarcer smooth grip example with longer blade, stamped 1943 Pioneer Calcutta. In its original scabbard, with frog. The leather has shrunk pulling the seam apart at the rear but all is still solid and in place. The grips and scabbard have no visible marking which I suspect are lost to time. It does have the name Lalu scratched onto the scabbard which is an Indian name. Overall a good example of a proper WW2 Kukri.
