A fantastic example of a WW1 Army officers pocket watch, made by the Coventry company of H.Williamson, the case being made by Dennisons of Birmingham.

The movement serial number is 438210 and the Army issue number is 14109F (matches the dial, case side and case back). Unfortunately, it's not possible to ascertain date of manufacture or issue date of these watches but the issue number is quite low compared to others so I suspect it dates from the earlier part of the war.
This is a highly collectable relic from the First World War and it's hard to believe that it is now over 110 years old.
