WW1 Death plaques plus medals all correctly inscribed, to brothers two Scottish brothers from Greenock. The first group is to Joseph Given of the Argyle & Sutherland Highlanders which includes his plaque and trio plus a lot of digital research, including letters from his sister requesting she receives his medals and not his common law wife who she describes as basically a prostitute with bastard sons! Looks like she likely got her way. Joseph was killed in action and his body never recovered, he is commemorated on the Menin gate.

The second brother is Solomon Given of the Seaforth Highlanders, there is also attached digital research but a little less than the first brother. He appears to have died at home in Greenock. Worthy of further research.
