A nice original framed portrait of acting Sgt Tom Gibson of the 4th Territorial kings own Lancaster regiment. Toms details and parents address are on the rear of the photo inside the frame. Tom was an acting Sergeant at age 19. He was discharged in 1915 before going overseas through deafness. He immediately re enlisted in the Machine Gun Corps and served till near the end of the war eventually being awarded the SWB after becoming gassed several times. Lots of copy research will be provided.
