Scarce to find certificate to PC Mylroie, originally from the Isle of Man. But by 1912 serving in Liverpool city police. He was awarded the silver medal for stopping a runaway horse drawn lorry on Bold street Liverpool in 1912. As well as an original photo of him in his uniform and one of him with an PC. Some further research available. Pc Mylroie applied to be chief constable of Dover police at which point he was an inspector in Liverpool city police.
