US M1 helmet Shlueter dual stamp, Westinghouse/Capac 51-52 liner. Korean War, manufactured by Shlueter in 1945, but not used in WW2, used during the Korean War. Rear seam, swivel bevel, helmet heat stamp is 504A, helmet liner is a dual stamp Westinghouse/ Capac 51-52 originally manufactured by Westinghouse during late WW2 but stored until the outbreak of the Korean War. Then re stamped by Capac who took over the contract for helmet liners during this period, the helmet net is a piece of WW2 German cargo net. This helmet is a cracking example of a Korean War helmet, it would be difficult to find a better example.
