An absolutely mint impossible to upgrade Wood grip FS knife, these knives where late war private purchase favoured by aircrew destined to fly in the far east, the idea being a good fighting/general use knife, that would float in water. This information was confirmed by a Barracuda pilot of the FAA, which I believe was published in one of Ron Flooks books. The original scabbard is mint. Really nice example you would be hard pressed to improve on.
